Lombardi, of Cranston, says it’s imperative that the state take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of children playing sports.
The resolution was referred to the Senate Rules, Ethics and Oversight Committee, which Lombardi chairs.
Lombardi said in a statement. “This legislation would direct law enforcement to have the vehicle towed in addition to citing the vehicle’s owner with a fine.”
